Terms and Conditions

Questline is an AI-powered productivity application designed to help users organize tasks, goals, and ideas into a structured, gamified system of quests, experience points (XP), progress tracking, and personal development.

The Service includes an AI assistant known as Sage, which generates suggestions, prioritization, summaries, and other productivity assistance using third-party artificial intelligence providers.

Questline is intended solely as a productivity and organizational tool. We do not guarantee that use of the Service will improve productivity, help you achieve goals, or produce any particular outcome.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the Service, you represent that you satisfy these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current registration information.
• Keep your account information updated.
• Notify us promptly at support@questline.one if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for all activity occurring through your account unless caused by our negligence.

Questline currently offers a 7-day free trial.

No payment method is required to begin the trial.

After the trial expires, continued access to premium features requires either:

• an active paid subscription; or
• a valid beta or promotional access code.

We may modify, limit, or discontinue free trials or promotional offers at any time.

Premium access is billed on a recurring subscription basis at the price displayed during checkout.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Cancellation becomes effective at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access until that date.

Failed Payments

If your payment method cannot be successfully charged, we may suspend or terminate access to premium features until payment is received.

Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable.

Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time.

If pricing changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice before the new pricing becomes effective.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.

Sage is an AI-powered assistant intended to help organize information and provide productivity suggestions.

You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or inappropriate.
• You should independently evaluate any AI-generated output before relying upon it.
• Sage is not a substitute for medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice.
• Experience points, levels, achievements, streaks, and other in-app progression are controlled exclusively by Questline's servers and cannot be modified through Sage conversations.
• We may impose reasonable usage limits on AI features, including limits on requests or daily usage, to maintain service quality and manage operational costs.
• Questline may change or replace the third-party AI providers powering Sage at any time.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Questline, including tasks, goals, notes, journal entries, and other information ("User Content").

You grant Questline a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate, improve, and provide the Service.

This includes transmitting relevant content to third-party AI providers to generate responses from Sage.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, reproduce, distribute, or attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, prompts, models, or systems underlying the Service, except where prohibited by applicable law.
• Use bots or automated systems to abuse account creation or AI features.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable laws.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or otherwise threaten the security or integrity of the Service.

Except for User Content, the Service and all associated software, technology, branding, trademarks, graphics, interfaces, and content are owned by Questline or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of any intellectual property belonging to Questline.

If you voluntarily provide feedback or suggestions regarding the Service, you grant Questline the unrestricted right to use that feedback without compensation or obligation.

We continuously improve Questline.

Accordingly, we may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or functionality at any time.

We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature, integration, or functionality.

From time to time, we may provide beta, preview, or experimental features.

These features are provided "AS IS," may change without notice, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• you violate these Terms;
• your use poses a security risk;
• your payment obligations are not fulfilled; or
• we are required to do so by law.

Termination does not affect provisions that are intended to survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• THE SERVICE WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION;
• THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE;
• DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST OR CORRUPTED;
• AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of any information you consider important.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUESTLINE, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO QUESTLINE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Questline is not responsible for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, labor disputes, governmental actions, or failures of third-party infrastructure providers.

We may update these Terms periodically.

When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of laws rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
